Reflecting on an Extraordinary Year: 2024 at Ray White The Woollahra Group

As 2024 draws to a close, we wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude to our team, and our clients. It has been an extraordinary year at Ray White The Woollahra Group, and none of this would have been possible without the support of our valued clients and the expertise of our trusted team.

From breaking suburb records in our sales team to celebrating personal best achievements together. Our team has worked tirelessly to deliver exceptional outcomes across both sales and property management. We wanted to take a moment to reflect on some of the highlights from this remarkable year.

Community Contributions

In 2024, we deepened our community connections through meaningful initiatives, including walking 25km to raise awareness and donations for Ronald McDonald House and Sydney Kids.

In May we proudly launched our partnership with the “You Can Sit With Me” safe space initiative across our two offices, a program that fosters inclusivity and kindness in our local communities. Marked by the program’s distinctive sticker, our offices now serve as safe spaces during office hours for children who feel lost, stuck, or unsafe on their way to or from school.

This initiative underscores our commitment to supporting local schools like Woollahra Public School, and Plunkett Street Public School, providing immediate assistance to children in need. We’re honored to be part of this national program, which now benefits over 900 schools across Australia.

Through Ray White’s “A Little Ray of Giving” Christmas charity initiative, we also raised funds to provide the Plunkett Street Public School with musical instruments for a three-year music program, sporting equipment, and a memorable end-of-year party.

Business Achievements

Ian and Pam Campbell, with over 30 years of experience as business owners in the Elizabeth Bay area, have been instrumental in supporting our team throughout this year’s transition. Their guidance has been crucial to the seamless integration of our two businesses, now united as Ray White The Woollahra Group, encompassing Elizabeth Bay, Potts Point, Paddington, and Woollahra.

Our team is proud to rank in the top 1% of Ray White performers, with outstanding achievements across sales and property management:

  • Danielle Prichard: Business Development Manager of the Year 2024

  • Randall Kemp, Principal: Top 10 in NSW for Sales Performance
  • Renee Cross: Tony X Award for Outstanding Achievement in Auctions
  • Property Management Team: Alan White Elite Award
  • Ray White The Woollahra Group: Chairman’s Elite Business 2024
  • Rate My Agent Awards: Recognized across Woollahra, Paddington, Elizabeth Bay, Potts Point, and Rushcutters Bay
  • 68 five-star Google reviews: Your valued feedback continues to inspire and motivate our team.

Sales Highlights 2024

Our team achieved several memorable and record-breaking sales, including these standouts:

Bonython, 52 Victoria Street, Paddington: Sold for a suburb record of $33,000,000, this extraordinary property set a new benchmark in the eastern suburbs for commercial residential properties, epitomizing luxury living at its finest.

25/397-405 Bourke Street, Surry Hills: At $330,000, this sale highlighted the accessibility of vibrant city living. A studio apartment in an Art Deco building near Taylor Square, offering a tranquil retreat with high ceilings and natural light, was perfect for renovators or investors in a vibrant, walkable locale on the edge of Darlinghurst and Surry Hills.

And finally, our most viewed property for 2024 on Realestate.com.au was 6 Liverpool Street, Paddington, while 27 Titania Street, Randwick received the highest number of inquiries.

Looking Ahead: What’s in Store for 2025?

As we step into 2025, the question on everyone’s mind is: what’s next for the Sydney eastern suburbs property market? Here’s our prediction for what it’s worth:

  • Interest Rates: While rates are expected to remain topical for the first half of the year, there’s optimism that they may ease in the latter half, providing relief for buyers and investors.
  • High Stock Volumes: All signs point to a robust market with an increase in property listings, creating opportunities for both buyers and sellers.
  • Price Adjustments: After a period of price declines, the market may stabilise, presenting a unique window for strategic investments, and those thinking longer term.
  • Economic Factors: The interplay between property, politics, and the broader economy will continue to shape market dynamics, making local market knowledge, and access to active and passive buyers even more important than ever.

Thank You and Best Wishes

Thank you for being an integral part of our journey in 2024. We wish you and your loved one’s a joyful and relaxing holiday season. Here’s to a bright and successful New Year!
